Ellen was born on January 7th, 1765 in Warton, Lancashire.1   Ellen's father was Francis Foster and her mother was Mary (Foster).  She was an only child.  She died at the age of 75 on June 7th, 1840 in Hutton, Warton, Lancashire.2
