George Armistead

George was born in March 1891 in Kirkby Ireleth, Lancashire. George's father was James Armistead and his mother was Isabella Marr. His paternal grandparents were James Armistead and Sarah Jackson; his maternal grandparents were John Marr and Jane Brewer. He had five brothers and a sister, named John, James, Robert, William, Jonathan B and Mary J.. He was the youngest of the seven children.
