Annie Shackleton

Annie was born in 1870 in Keighley, Yorkshire, England. Annie's father was Richard Shackleton and her mother was Jane Hartley. Her paternal grandparents were William Shackleton and Elisabeth Shackleton Smith; her maternal grandparents were Joseph Hartley and Elizabeth. She had two brothers and five sisters, named Abraham, Edwin, Annie, Elizabeth, Maggie, Clara and Fanny. She was the oldest of the eight children.
