William Shackleton

William was born in 1872 in Braithwaite. William's father was John Shackleton and his mother was Mary Antrim. His paternal grandparents were William Shackleton and Elisabeth Shackleton Smith; his maternal grandparents were Charles Antrum and Mary Turner. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Edward, John A, Annie, Clara, Mary Jane, Edith M and Olive. He was the oldest of the eight children.

General Notes
- Married Frances. Sadly not liked by family.Seved in Great War and was badly gassed. Died at time of 2nd WW.
