Robert Armistead

Robert was born on December 24th, 1802 in Hutton, Warton, Lancashire and his baptism took place on March 6th, 1803 in Warton, Lancashire conducted by Priest Hutton St Oswald.¹ Robert's father was Christopher Armistead and his mother was Ellen Foster. His paternal grandparents were William Armistead and <Unknown>; his maternal grandparents were Francis Foster and Mary (Foster). He had three brothers and five sisters, named William , Francis, John, Mary, Margaret, Grace, Ellen and Isabella . He was the eighth oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 71 on April 27th, 1874 in Urswick, Lancashire.²
