George Bentham

George was born in 1860 in Bleeze Hall, Old Hutton, Westmorland, England. George's father was James Bentham and his mother was Jane Barber. His paternal grandparents were George Bentham and Margaret Bentham; his maternal grandparents were John Barber and Margaret. He had two brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Margaret, Mary S and Jane. He was the second oldest of the six children.
