Mary Bentham

Mary was born on May 27th, 1859 in Castle Green, Kendal, Westmorland, England. Mary's father was Thomas Bentham and her mother was Mary Nelson. Her paternal grandparents were George Bentham and Margaret Bentham; her maternal grandparents were James Nelson and Ann. She had three brothers and three sisters, named John, James, Thos., Margaret, Ann and Ruthel. She was the sixth oldest of the seven children. She died at the age of 49 in 1908 in Cockermouth.
