Herbert Slingsby

Herbert's father was Walter Slingsby and his mother was Annie Shackleton. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Slingsby and Hannah Crossley; his maternal grandparents were John Shackleton and Mary Antrim. He had three brothers and two sisters, named Charles H, Walter Norman, Leslie, Mabel and Popsy.
