David Blyth

David was born on March 1st, 1796 in WOOLER Northumberland England. David's father was Charles Blyth and his mother was Esther Faa. His paternal grandparents were David Blyth and Elizabeth Clarke; his maternal grandparents were Wull Faa and Mabel Allan. He had ten brothers and four sisters, named William, John, Infant, Andrew, Infant, George, Tam, Infant, Charles, Infant, Esther Faa, Jeanie, Betty and Helen. He was the oldest of the fifteen children. He died at the age of 86 on February 17th, 1883 in Chirnside, Berwick.

General Notes
- Upon the death of his father, King Charles I of the Gypsies, David was in line to take the throne. He declined the throne in favour of his younger sister Helen. However, her older sister Esther Faa Blyth contested it and she won and was crowned as Queen Esther. She was the last queen of the gypsies.He married his cousin at a gypsy blessing at Coldstream Bridge, by Pattie Moodie, however after the birth of his first child, he was married again by Rev Mr Blakie in Kirk Yetholm.
