Elizabeth Armistead

Elizabeth was born in 1890 in Scales, Aldingham, Lancashire. Elizabeth's father was Robert Armistead and her mother was Isobella High. Her paternal grandparents were James Armistead and Sarah Jackson; her maternal grandparents were James High and Hannah Dobie. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named Robert, Wilfred, Sarah H, Dorothy, Edith, Mary, Annie, Agnes, Isabell and Nellie. She was the eighth oldest of the eleven children.
