Isabell Armistead

Isabell was born in 1892 in Scales, Aldingham, Lancashire. Isabell's father was Robert Armistead and her mother was Isobella High. Her paternal grandparents were James Armistead and Sarah Jackson; her maternal grandparents were James High and Hannah Dobie. She had two brothers and eight sisters, named Robert, Wilfred, Sarah H, Dorothy, Edith, Mary, Annie, Agnes, Elizabeth and Nellie. She was the nineth oldest of the eleven children.
