William Armistead

William was born in 1883 in Aldingham, Lancashire, England. William's father was George Armistead and his mother was Dorothy High. His paternal grandparents were James Armistead and Sarah Jackson; his maternal grandparents were James High and Hannah Dobie. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Septimus, John, Frank, Alan, Mary E and Hannah H. He was the second oldest of the seven children.
