John Blyth

John was born in 1836 in Tweedmouth, Northumberland, England. John's father was David Blyth and his mother was Catherine Blyth. His paternal grandparents were Charles Blyth and Esther Faa; his maternal grandparents were Williamson Blyth and Jane McGregor. He had three brothers and four sisters, named Charles, David, William, Esther Faa, Mary, Elizabeth and Isabella Hislop. He was the youngest of the eight children.
