George Ness

George was born in 1863 in Dundonald, Ayr. George's father was William Ness and his mother was Agnes Neil. His paternal grandparents were John Ness and Agnes Bell Thomson. He had four brothers and five sisters, named John, William, James, William #2, Jean Brown, Margaret, Agnes Thompson, Mary and Janet (Jessie). He was the youngest of the ten children.
