Margaret Ness

Margaret was born on November 12th, 1843 in Kilmaurs, Ayr. Margaret's father was William Ness and her mother was Agnes Neil. Her paternal grandparents were John Ness and Agnes Bell Thomson. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, James, William #2, George, Jean Brown, Agnes Thompson, Mary and Janet (Jessie). She was the third oldest of the ten children.
