Jean Brown Ness

Jean Brown was born on August 15th, 1841 in Kilmaurs, Ayr. Jean Brown's father was William Ness and her mother was Agnes Neil. Her paternal grandparents were John Ness and Agnes Bell Thomson. She had five brothers and four sisters, named John, William, James, William #2, George, Margaret, Agnes Thompson, Mary and Janet (Jessie). She was the second oldest of the ten children.
