John Templeton

John was born on October 2nd, 1875 in Dalchalloch, Blair Atholl. John's father was Archibald Templeton and his mother was Janet (Jessie) Ness. His paternal grandparents were John Templeton and Agnes Hogg; his maternal grandparents were William Ness and Agnes Neil. He had four brothers and five sisters, named Big Jamie, Archibald, George, Robert James, Agnes, Margaret, Janet, Mary and Jessie Jane. He was the oldest of the ten children.
