George Templeton

George was born in 1849 in Kirkconnel, DUmfriesshire. George's father was John Templeton and his mother was Agnes Hogg. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Templeton and Margaret Adamson. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Archibald, Unknown, Robert, Margaret, Jean and Agnes. He was the fifth oldest of the eight children. He had a half-brother and four half-sisters, named Gilbert, Harriet, Jane(t), Elizabeth and Francis.
