Eleanor Armistead

Eleanor was born on May 5th, 1863 in Scales, Lancashire.¹ Eleanor's father was James Armistead and her mother was Sarah Jackson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Armistead and Anne Pickthall. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert, George, James, Agnes, Dorothy, Sarah, Mary, Isabella and Margaret. She was the seventh oldest of the ten children.
