Sarah Armistead

- born on 1 November 1860 in Aldingham, Lancashire. She married John STRICKLAND on 28 June 1884.

Sarah's father was James Armistead and her mother was Sarah Jackson. Her paternal grandparents were Robert Armistead and Anne Pickthall. She had three brothers and six sisters, named Robert, George, James, Agnes, Dorothy, Eleanor, Mary, Isabella and Margaret. She was the sixth oldest of the ten children.
