David McVie

David was born about 1846 in KILWINNING Ayrshire Scotland. David's father was John McVie and his mother was Jean Ness. His paternal grandparents were Samuel McVie and Jean McFadzean; his maternal grandparents were William Ness and Agnes Sillars. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Samuel, William, John, Thomas, Adam, Alexander, James, Agnes, Jean and Christina. He was the tenth oldest of the eleven children.
