Jean McVie

Jean was born about 1794 in Coylton, Ayrshire. Jean's father was Samuel McVie and her mother was Jean McFadzean. Her maternal grandparents were James McFadzean and Elizabeth Doak. She had seven brothers and two sisters, named Thomas, Alexander, John, Samuel, Thomas #2, Cunniham Smith, Adam, Margaret and Elisabeth. She was the oldest of the ten children.
