Jane Ness

Jane was born on August 15th, 1824 in Stair, Ayrshire. Jane's father was John Ness and her mother was Agnes Bell Thomson. Her paternal grandparents were William Ness and Agnes Sillars; her maternal grandparents were David Thomson and Margaret McHoul. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Margaret, William, John, George, James, David, Agnes, Ann Paterson, Sarah and Mary. She was the seventh oldest of the eleven children.
