Mary Ness

Mary was born on June 10th, 1827 in Riccarton, Ayrshire. Mary's father was John Ness and her mother was Agnes Bell Thomson. Her paternal grandparents were William Ness and Agnes Sillars; her maternal grandparents were David Thomson and Margaret McHoul. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Margaret, William, John, George, James, David, Agnes, Ann Paterson, Sarah and Jane. She was the eighth oldest of the eleven children.
